Fun Times Together

It’s been a while since I saw these two friends of mine, so it was lovely to see them again…and stuff our faces together.

Dragon Roll from Sushi Tei is ‘da bomb’. Sushi Tei is literally my favourite Japanese quick-eat place. I practically know their menu by heart.

And then, Canele’s. It’s my favourite dessert shop. Always can’t decide what to have there, cos’ I want everything!

Strawberry shortcake, nougatine ice-cream & chocolate ice-cream (I forgot the name): absolutely befitting for food sinners.

My toe-nails and shoes matched that day! Took them out for the first time (the wedges) that day. Glad they didn’t ‘bite’ into me!

Wore this cream coloured dress from the newly opened The Editor’s Market (Avenue) at Orchard Central. Love the simplicity of the dress, cutting and material. I think the new store is about 5000sqft. HUGE. You guys have got to go see it. Congratulations on the store opening Vivian and Nigel! πŸ™‚

The Editor’s Market (Avenue)

My birthday celebrations this year stretched from multiple dinners with family and loved ones to a trip to Bangkok, and even more celebrations when I got back. I truly truly feel so loved by everyone and I thank my lucky stars for surrounding me with wonderful people.
Dinner with the family was at Gyukaku Chijmes. My first experience with Gyukaku was in Tokyo, and the branch in Singapore is just as good…just alot more expensive. -_-
That’s a whole plate of Japanese wagyu. I love meat!!

Mummy dearest always taking on the role of “chef” in the house.

My dad and brother-in-law looking cute in their aprons.

Presents from the sister and brother-in-law! Love the cute wrapping paper. πŸ™‚

With sister dearest.

Ta-dah! Juicy Couture undies and bag organiser! This is brilliant. I’ll never lose my stuff in my bags again!

Strawberry shortcake!! My favourite!! πŸ™‚

I β™₯ my family

Made my birthday wish, blowing out the candles. Poof! It’s going to come true. (The power of positive thinking. Haha)

I made everyone do a funny face! That’s definitely a first for my parents. Haha.

‘Tis The Season To Be Jolly

And it’s that time of the year again. Where first, Orchard Road slowly and magically transformed itself into “Christmas Land,” where the malls subtly but surely started chiming Christmas carols and you couldn’t help but hum along (even to the cheesy ones), where party invites started rolling in, and where you suddenly realise: “Shucks! it’s almost Christmas! Time to get my a@$ down to town and start my Christmas shopping!”
And then you sit down and start writing your Christmas present list (for yourself, and loved ones), and join the frenzied crowd in town for some mad shopping. This year, I almost made headlines which would probably have looked like this: “Girl (me) almost clobbers fellow shopper who bumped incessantly into her shopping bags to death with Jimmy Choos.” Kidding. So that didn’t really almost happen, and I’m home now safe and sound, with all my lovely presents wrapped writing this blog entry.
Just 2 more days! (For those who haven’t completed your Christmas shopping, Good Luck jostling!! Ha! :p)
Here are my pressies all wrapped and ready to go. πŸ™‚
I started my celebrations early with a cosy dinner with my fellow JAL girlfriends on Monday. Here goes:
Me and Angelia
Stephaine and Cecilia

We had to have Japanese food! Lots of yummy yakitori and everything else. I’m getting hungry all over again!
I got the girls cute underwear and hand masks!

And Angelia got us these cute little penguin cookies.

We all had to get a present for one girl. Here’s Stephaine opening my present.

Ta da! Cute sleepwear, more underwear (which she announced that she was having on the exact same pair I gave her!! What are the odds?!), and a Calvin Klein wristlet.

Angelia and her loot

And me laughing at my present..guess what I got?

Cute sexy sleepwear and marshmallows! The girls couldn’t stop giving me kinky ideas…that was why I was laughing so hard at my pressie. :p Thanks Ceci!

This Yuzu Umeshu that we had is definitely worth a mention. I’m not one who drinks much alcohol, but this was yummy!

…Oh my gosh! Is it 4am already? Time for me to go to bed! Goodnight!!

Here’s wishing everyone:

A Friday Night Out :)

With our separate hectic schedules, it’s been a long while since I’ve met up with my favourite girls from JAL. I was two hours late for our dinner at “Shunjuu, Robertson Quay” because my shoot from the day over-ran! 😦

Finally! It was great to see them. πŸ™‚
Yummy Japanese food and everyone say…Choya!!

Choya Plum!

And it was off to Stereolab for some hard partying after!

Darls…what are you looking at? Haha.

…and we try again.

My girlfriends loved the dress I’m wearing from Pink Flare and have reserved their own! Have you gotten yours yet? πŸ˜‰
