Citibank Credit Cards Recommender

Hey everyone! Have you signed up for your Citibank credit card yet? Just in case you are still confused as to which card to get, there is a ‘card recommender’ on their site to guide you along. I’ve just tried it myself and it’s so easy!! Here’s how you do it:

Step 1:

Log on to the Citibank ‘card recommender’ site HERE

Step 2:

Select the cards that you are interested in for comparing (compare up to 6 cards). Click ‘compare now’ and voila! the features of the cards such as rewards, privileges and perks etc. appear right back at you.

I’ve chosen to compare the Citi Clear Platinum Card and the Citi Platinum Visa/Mastercard here.

	5X rewards all year round at nightspots, cafes, cinemas, book and music stores
	After dark privileges (eg: 1-for-1 drinks and priority entries) at popular nightspots-Zouk, Timbre, Helipad etc
	Redeem absolutely anything from the catalogue and beyond Citi Rebate: where all card member can earn up to 10% Citi rebate at merchants like Cold Storage/ Guardian/ Coffee Bean (rebate is in addition to their existing rewards)

Best reward earn rate in town with 5X rewards (S$1=Citi$1) at Department Stores and Supermarkets

Redeem absolutely anything from the catalogue and beyond

Enjoy longer-lasting reward points with 5 years validity

Citi Rebate: where all card member can earn up to 10% Citi rebate at merchants like Cold Storage/ Guardian/ Coffee Bean (rebate is in addition to their existing rewards)

After which, make your choice of card and APPLY NOW!

If not, you can also decide on which card to apply for by clicking on ‘choose the right card for your lifestyle’ button at the bottom of the page.

Step 1:

Input your age range. ( I entered 21-35 for myself)

Next, enter if you’re ‘salaried’ or ‘self-employed’.

Step 2:

Depending on your needs, decide if you prefer ‘cash back up to 5%’, ‘reward items up to 5x’ or ‘miles for travel’.

I selected ‘cash back up to 5%’, and was prompted that I may qualify for 2 cards.

Step 3:

Click ‘recommend now’ and the cards recommended will appear along with their privileges.

Mine showed the:

Citibank Dividend Card

14.5% savings at Esso

5% cash back on petrol at any station

2% cash bank on any dining, grocery and pharmaceutical purchases

0.5% cash back on all other retail spend

Citi Rebate: where all card member can earn up to 10% Citi rebate at merchants like Cold Storage/ Guardian/ Coffee Bean (rebate is in addition to their existing rewards)

and the Citi Business Card

Once again, decide on the card your choice and apply HERE

I’m really impressed with Citibank for these tools to help with deciding on which cards. We all know how confusing it can be to decide with so many choices available. This site comes in really handy!

I’ve been a Citibank Platinum card holder for about 5 years and I’m still loving the privileges, perks, rewards and most importantly, Citibank’s customer service! (bad customer service really gripes me!)

Hi everyone! Sorry my blog has been so quiet. I’ve been travelling much and haven’t had much time to sit down properly and write. Anyhow, I returned from Taipei last week and before I went, I was invited to have dinner at 10@Claymore by Citibank. The food was delicious and I had so much fun meeting other people from the blogosphere.

Yes, we were rather fascinated with the iPad. I’m giving myself excuses why I should have one!

The chef was giving us an introduction to the menu.

The menu is extensive with foods ranging from sushis to steaks. We were lucky to have been brought a taste of almost everything. And I must say, they were delicious.

Appetisers:

Asian Duck Salad with Coriander, Cucumber and Spring Onions with Sweet Plum Dressing. This was a favourite amongst many.

Braised Quail with Pear Compote and a Wild Berry Reduction

10@Claymore is a great place for quiet dinners or small dinner parties with friends.

Mains:

Lasagna Bolognese

Beer Battered Black Cod Fillet with Fat Chips and Tartar Sauce. Must try!

Roasted Duck Breast with Caramelized Sweet Potatoes, Foie Fras, Sweet Peas, Fruit Compote and a Pinot Reduction

Blackmore Wagyu Beef Tenderloin. This is to-die-for.

Desserts: (usually my favourite part of meals!)

Claymore Bread and Butter Pudding with Vanilla and Toffee Sauce with Cinnamon Ice Cream

Baked Lemon Cheese Cake with Wild Berry Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream

A shot with Ee Lin from Citibank.

There was no shot taken of the ‘Crispy Tiger Prawns with Avocado and Tomato Salsa with a Mango Emulsion’ in the appetiser menu. It is a must try, together with the ‘Blackmore Wagyu Beef Tenderloin’. Yummy!!!

I shot a commercial last week for Citibank. It will be shown on the big screens during the Singapore International Film Festival. 🙂

Here’s director Lilian and me in the ‘lil screen gazing at the gorgeous pair of shoes.

Hmm….shoes or no shoes? (with Karen, the make-up artist at the back)

I am absolutely grinning at that gorgeous pair of shoes..haha

Grrr…watch out..I’ve got the shoes! Those shoes in that store cost at least $1000 and up a pair! Such decadence…

We shot in and outside Palais Renaissance. Here’s the crew hard at work.
