Hi everyone! Sorry my blog has been so quiet. I’ve been travelling much and haven’t had much time to sit down properly and write. Anyhow, I returned from Taipei last week and before I went, I was invited to have dinner at 10@Claymore by Citibank. The food was delicious and I had so much fun meeting other people from the blogosphere.
Yes, we were rather fascinated with the iPad. I’m giving myself excuses why I should have one!
The chef was giving us an introduction to the menu.
The menu is extensive with foods ranging from sushis to steaks. We were lucky to have been brought a taste of almost everything. And I must say, they were delicious.
Appetisers:
Asian Duck Salad with Coriander, Cucumber and Spring Onions with Sweet Plum Dressing. This was a favourite amongst many.
Braised Quail with Pear Compote and a Wild Berry Reduction
10@Claymore is a great place for quiet dinners or small dinner parties with friends.
Mains:
Lasagna Bolognese
Beer Battered Black Cod Fillet with Fat Chips and Tartar Sauce. Must try!
Roasted Duck Breast with Caramelized Sweet Potatoes, Foie Fras, Sweet Peas, Fruit Compote and a Pinot Reduction
Blackmore Wagyu Beef Tenderloin. This is to-die-for.
Desserts: (usually my favourite part of meals!)
Claymore Bread and Butter Pudding with Vanilla and Toffee Sauce with Cinnamon Ice Cream
Baked Lemon Cheese Cake with Wild Berry Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream
A shot with Ee Lin from Citibank.
There was no shot taken of the ‘Crispy Tiger Prawns with Avocado and Tomato Salsa with a Mango Emulsion’ in the appetiser menu. It is a must try, together with the ‘Blackmore Wagyu Beef Tenderloin’. Yummy!!!
