Current Favourite Foundation

One of the absolute favourite parts of my job is that I get to try all these amazing beauty products. I always get so excited to try them out when I get them! Of all the products that I test, some of them make it into my makeup routine, like the Max Factor Facefinity 3-In-1 Foundation. This is the latest product that I tested that got me really excited. It’s a primer, concealer and foundation all in one – such a perfect multi-tasker for my busy schedule.

Before I go on to review this foundation, yes, you heard right. Max Factor is coming to Singapore! The brand is well known for their face and foundation products and having tested the foundation, I can so see why this is their signature.

I’ve been looking for a good foundation for ages and this one checked off all the right boxes. One of my top few criteria when choosing a foundation is: it has to provide good coverage for blemishes. The coverage from this one is so good, I can even skip the concealer step – it’s such a time saver! Best of all, despite it’s high coverage, it still sits lightweight on my face, feels really comfortable and looks natural on the skin. It has a nice, velvety matte finish and I remember being surprised at how much smoother my skin looked with the foundation on the first time I tried it.

Here’s a major bonus: this foundation does not oxidise! My skin tends to get oily and foundation usually oxidises on my face at around mid-day. This one stays put on my face all day and keeps my skin looking bright, even at the end of a long day. Wow.

To apply, I usually use a foundation brush to apply it on my face – it glides on easily and is very easy to blend. A little goes a long way! Watch my video coming soon to my Instagram, @xoxojeneen to see how it really looks on my skin.

If you’d like to give this foundation and other Max Factor products a go, they’re now available at selected Watsons stores (Ngee Ann City, Bugis Junction, JEM, ION, Parkway Parade, NEX and Tiong Bahru Plaza). The Facefinity 3-In-1 Foundation is $29.90 – so affordable and such good quality!

  1. Hi babe!
Just to ask after applying the max factor foundation, do you still put any loose powder or other powder on it to prevent being sticky on face? Thanks!
