It’s interesting how life can take a turn of events. What started out as a simple audition from the persuasion of a friend has now taken me into the 20 finalists of the Star Search competition. – Thank you to that ‘friend’ who rang me up to go for the auditions, because I’m enjoying every bit of everything now. 🙂 I’m superlimely busy…going for rehersals and classes everyday, with a million things to do, prepare and learn. But! I’m definitely doing everything now with a smile on my face and a beautiful tune playing in my heart. I actually feel quite ‘alive’ now feeling like I’ve hibernated for the longest time. I only hope, I’ll be able to dance pass all the upcoming elimination rounds and sail to the end of the road.

I’ve had many well-wishes, good lucks and ‘jia-yous’ from all my friends, loved ones and people that I don’t know. Thank you sooooooo much for all the encouragement. It has definitely made me want to push myself harder to do even better. I’ll try my bestest~Gambarimasu! 🙂

It’s been awhile since I last partied, a while since we hung out as a group. We have all been too busy!! Anyways, I loveeeee the ‘fresh, clean, smoke-free’ air in the clubs now!!! No more smelly hair… 😀

Met the girls – yuqi and fionna for an ‘intense’ dinner at Tonkichi a couple of days ago. ‘Intense’ dinner, as mr lion calls it, is a dinner where I will meet up girlfriends whom I’ve not met for quite a bit, and where we will update each other with our life-stories…the bits where we last left off, at our last ‘intense’ dinner. 🙂

We all certainly had a very good, sweet, fulfilling…intense time. 🙂 (p.s hello to jieqing, singapore is indeed very small. we all find ourselves somewhat connected in some way! )

(Tonkichi reminds me of this quaint little restaurant in Osaka where I used to dine in everytime I stopped by Osaka!)

Kai is now a big boy, but still believes he’s a small little pup – from the way he plonks, steps and jumps on me *ouch*… yes, I think he secretly thinks he’s a small little toy dog. Ha, but his adoring sweet face melts my heart and the scratches and bruises from him are worth it. 🙂

After a month-long debate, my company has finally let me go. 🙂 I am now free of the ‘money-broker’ identity… set free to go pursuit my happiness.

…and what better way to celebrate than to ‘toast’ myself with a new Balenciaga Twiggy! – in gorgeous olive brown. 😀
