I wanted to do a quick post, but ended up writing.
Made your New Year’s resolutions yet? Time really flies…I always say this, but it’s really really scary how it does. And 2008 felt extra quick. Star Search was in 2007! Been more than a year. I can’t believe it. It still kinda feels fresh.
Last year has been rather interesting, and yet not. Ok, that didn’t sound quite right. But, it was interesting for one because I took a hiatus from the corporate world and took time off to try and dabble in what I love and to find my direction (once again) in life. I think that’s me…I need to be constantly dynamic and changing. Not to feel bored. Well, I can’t say I’ve found my answer…haha, I think I never will. That’s the element of surprise in life I guess?
Along the way, I had some rather good opportunities, I think joining Kosmic Film was a good decision. I feel comfortable there and I like the people I work with. I think something good should brew from there. But of course, everything else with this industry is never easy. There’s soooo many elements involved and sometimes, being a good actress is just not enough. Oh well, but I’ll take a chance on that, and keep working hard at my craft. If you become so good, who can resist you right? haha. Anyway, I definitely hope 2009 will be a better year with more opportunities!!
So, not so interesting because….I can’t exactly put a finger on that. Maybe because I’m such a bore deep down, I enjoy staying at home, meeting up the same friends, doing the same things, eating the same kind of food. Haha. Don’t get me wrong, I love doing all that. Just that there wasn’t quite something that made a huge impact in ’08. I’m not even sure what kind of huge impact I’m talking about. haha, I sound like this completely confused chick! Well, if it happens in ’09, I’ll be blogging about it. With a “HUGE IMPACT” title. Do wait out for it…hopefully.
Back to New Year’s resolutions. The only serious one I inked down for this year, is to EXERCISE!!! I find it the hardest to do really, when I really should. I think I need someone to smack me on my back to make me move. Ha. Anything else on the list, I’ll keep it dynamic (haha, that’s my favourite word I think?). I remember coming across this Bruce Lee saying once. Something like we should be formless, shapeless like water. I like to take it that it meant that we should be flexible and dynamic – in everything we do. Wait, I’ll take that as my ’09 resolution, I should be like water!
Anyway, I’ll like to bid adios to ’08, and toast to ’09. Cheers to a better year! Good luck for the new year everyone! 🙂

A good start to the year, me in Dolce magazine. Thanks so much Dolce for this spread opportunity! Thanks Kee Soon!
2009~!
Christmas!
‘Tis the season to be jolly, fa~la~la~la~la, la~la~la~la! Yipee! It’s that time of the year again! My favourite season of the year…Christmas!! I’ve been playing my CD of christmas carols to death. Haha. Have you all done your Christmas shopping yet? I’m almost done! Tiring affair…all that jostling with the crowd, and brain-storming for gift ideas. I hope everyone will like what I got them. *fingers crossed*
Before I go on, here’s wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. May you all have a wonderful holiday season filled with love, warmth and happiness…and not forgetting loads of yummy food, and wonderful presents! 🙂
Christmas celebrations started early for me this year. I’ve had 2 rounds of celebrations with different groups of lovely friends already. Here are some snaps to share!
Had a pot-luck party with my girlfriends from Japan Airlines and here’s what we brought:
The cupcakes were so cute, we had to take pictures with them. haha.
And more cam-whoring with cupcakes…
Once again, I always love the time spent with the girls…:)
Day after was a Christmas dinner organised by our party diva, Noah. Held at Margarita’s! I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food, but I’m now a convert. The food is fabulous!
The party of 8:

I bet the waiter wanted to kill us for having to take SO many pictures for us. Opps! 😀
Silly shots…
If you’re wondering what we are trying to do, Noah our supermodel has 2 specific pose tasks for all of us…the back-break, and stomach-ache. And there you go….
Before I end this post, just want to share that a bunch of us Kosmic Artistes (May, Claire, Jaymee and me) lent our hands to M.A.C a few weekends ago to help sell their range of Viva Glam lipsticks, glosses and lip palettes. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of lip colours go to the M.A.C Aids Fund. This fund supports men, women and children affected by AIDS/HIV globally. The Viva Glam lipsticks and glosses are on sale 365 days. There’s a huge range of lovely colours available, so please lend your support by getting one from any M.A.C counters! 🙂

I’ve got Viva Glam no.V on my lips. Hurry go get yours!
P.S They make great Christmas gifts!
Gossip Girls

A drama revolving around the lives of a bunch of over-privileged, very rich prep-school teens from the Upper East side of Manhattan. Gossips, scandals and drama – complete with a gorgeous cast, gorgeous settings and even more gorgeous clothes. What’s not to love? I’m hooked.
You can get your dosage from here.
